About us
BEKOS d.o.o. is a translation office headquartered in Novi Zagreb, in the immediate vicinity of Zagreb Fair and Avenue Mall. Our office comprises a group of experienced translators and court interpreters with excellent linguistic proficiency.
The Greek historian Herodotus wrote a story of the Egyptian King Psamtik who ordered two newborns to be isolated to see which language they will spontaneously start speaking. According to the legend, the children first uttered the word BEKOS, meaning “bread” in the Phrygian language, which was then proclaimed to be the oldest language in the world.
Who knows, had our distant relatives not defied the Almighty by building the Babylon Fortress, perhaps we would all still be speaking a single language… This, however, is not the case, so the Almighty created both us and our translators to help you communicate.
What do we offer?
We primarily offer written certified or uncertified translation services in a wide variety of fields.
We also translate from all foreign languages into Croatian. Other language pairs are also available.
Our office offers translations of all kinds of texts in the field of human activity and culture, including law, economy, medicine, pharmacy, religion, architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
